J. Borel
was born in Kansas City, Missouri
in 1947. In 1969 he graduated from Pittsburgh State University
with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
In 1972 he received a Juris Doctor degree with distinction from
the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Law. In
law school he was a member and research editor of the UMKC Law
Review.
Mr. Borel has been engaged in the private practice of law since
1972. He limits his practice to medical malpractice,
personal injury, and workers' compensation cases. He is a member of the Missouri and Kansas
Trial Lawyers Associations and Association of Trial Lawyers
of America. Mr. Borel is listed in Marquis' Who's Who in American
Law. He is rated "A-V" by the prestigious Martindale-Hubbel Law Directory,
the highest rating available.
